So let's get started making this fun card-
I started by using the new Tim Holtz Monster Dies and the Blueprint Back to School Stamps. The Stamped images were fussy cut.
For the Blue Print Stamped Images, I water colored with Distress Ink Markers and a water brush. You can water color with the makers, the ink pads and the give great color.
Then I inked the monsters with Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet.
I colored in a background to show their faces with Mustard Seed and Black Soot.
I used an A7 size card stock from Neenah 65 pound weight in white. Then I colored in with 3 Distress Ink colors in Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo. I went from light to dark on the card. From there I used Tim Holtz Big Number Stamps and other number stamps that I had from Hero Arts and Recollections. Using the Archival Tim Holtz 4 pack in Black Soot, Hickory Smoke, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso, I stamped all the numbers. These colors are great and you can use a brayer to put the color onto your stamp. Very easy!
After the background was made, I just started to put together the elements to see how best they would lay out on the card. I stamped the sentiment on a tag and cut out with pinking shears to get the edged look! And Voila! Easy Peasy and super cute!
