Holiday Sleigh Card
I am running behind this year in the card making department! I love the new Inventor series by Tim Holtz and wanted to use it for the sleigh! I used the new Jewel metallic card stock from Tim Holtz and then ran it through the 3D lumbar embossing folder. A little sanding and it looks vintage!

TP Roll Scary Eye Halloween Project
So I love Halloween and love making props for my yard! I had seen this project on Pinterest and always thought it was great fun but never made it. That is until I saw Tim Holtz's New Frightening Faces Dies for 2018! Now I can make these scary faces and put them in my yard to scare my trick or treaters! Woot, woot!
So let's get started-
To get started- You will need Tim Holtz Frightening Faces thinlits die set #663090 and a die cut machine. I have a Vagabond 2 that I love and these also work in a Sidekick. Paper towel and toilet paper rolls, wax paper, glow sticks or battery powered votives.
Tape a Frightening Face die to the paper towel or tp roll and run through your die cut machine. Don't worry about it flattening out because it will pop back up into place. You just need to run it through once as the dies will cut through the card board.
This is what it looks like after cutting through the die machine!
Then take wax paper and roll up into a tube and insert it into the cardboard roll. Wax paper works the best because it filters the light from the glow sticks or votive candles. Without it the light only shines half way through the faces. I tried plain collage paper but it was too opaque and blocked the light.'
So depending on what size you use, you can add long or short glow sticks or changing color votives. Just trim off the wax paper and place around in your yard, on your Halloween table, in bushes or anywhere!
The eyes look awesome when it is dark! You could also paint the outside of the rolls black if you were using on your table.
Have fun and Happy Halloween!

Alcohol Lift Ink Fun
I got the new Alcohol Lift ink from Tim Holtz and had to try it out! Using my favorite Tim Holtz skull from Stampers Anonymous, I used the lift ink to achieve a spooky, ghostly effect! I also took a tip from Paula Cheney and used a brayer to lift up the ink with a paper towel. This gives crisp clean lines and the effect is most Spooktacular!

3D skull
I got the Tim Holtz 3D wood grain embossing folder and had to try it out! Since I had a friend having a birthday and likes Halloween, I thought it would be fun to create a wooden skull! I inked up some 110pound Neenah Solar Crest Card stock with Distress Inks. I used Brushed Corduroy, Ground Espresso, Gathered Twigs and Weathered Wood. Cut out the skull using the Tim Holtz Bigz Skull die and then embossed using the 3D embossing folder in wood grain. I cut out 4 extra skulls to build up.ll. Using a regular embossing folder from Tim Holtz, I ran the base of the card with the embossing folder. Then ran it again after color paper with Distress Oxides to blend and give a beautiful color for the background and the flowers. Layered everything up and voila! Skull for a birthday! I think my friend will like it!

Zombie Easter Cards
Of course my love of Halloween is know to all that know me! I have a lot of Halloween friends that love anything Halloween! So for every holiday, I try to modify a traditional card and make it Halloweenie! All my friends in my craft groups, love to see what I come up with! The Tim Holtz Zombie Man die has become my personal paper doll and I dress him up for every holiday! So here he is gathering up Easter eggs and of course eating chocolate bunnies! Muwah!
This was a tag that I made last year-

Easter Cards with Elizabeth Craft dies
I recently purchased these Elizabeth Craft dies to make some Easter Cards. I really like the basket die and the layered egg die. You can mix and match these dies with other dies and many papers.
The basket die is very versatile-
I had over 50 cards for friends and family that I had to make this year. So I loaded up on spring dies and stamps and Easter stamps and dies! It was great fun to make!
Spring is in the Air
I wanted to make Easter Cards and Spring cards for all my friends and family! My craft friends and Halloween Haunter friends list is long! So I started off with some fun Spring Cards using the SSS Daisy stitch die! I love the look of these daisies that this die produces!
Then I doubled up the flower die to make it look fuller and I like the effect-
I also like the black eyed Susan Daisies-
This is a very versatile die from SSS and I will definitely get a lot of use out of it!

CCB DT March Challenge- Spring and Butterflies
For our March Challenge at CCB, the theme was Spring and Butterflies! I'm currently in love with the Glimmer Sprays from Tattered Angels that CCB makes! So I made a quad mixed media Spring Piece with Butterflies and paper flowers!
I used some Prima Platinum crackle paste to add some texture. Once I sprayed the Tattered Angels Sprays on to the canvas, it magically blended!
On the butterflies I used TA High Impact Paints and Glimmer Spray to add sparkle.

Mardi Gras Man
I made a Mardi Gras Voodoo doll and he turned out really cute! He's a bit bigger than the normal Voodoo doll because of his hat! He is available now in my Etsy Store! Voodoo you!
We are not like other's Valentine's
So I am a Halloween Haunter and have lots of friends that are as well! What that means, is that they think about Halloween 24/7 365!!! So when sending cards or goodies to them, I usually put a Halloween twist on the item! These two cards were made for Haunter friends and I like how they turned out! Using a variety of techniques as stamping, embossing wet and embossing dry the first card was made with a Stampotique Stamp!
The second card was made by using negative space hearts from a die cut and layering them for the background. The stamp is from Viva Las Vegas! I just love these little guys!
These will be available for sale in my Etsy store!
Spots for SSS Feb Challenge and Frilly and Funkie Challenge
Since I was making frou, frou cards, I thought I would enter some into the SSS challenge and Frilly and Funkie Challenge. I love this polka dot die that I got from SSS because you can use the negative space dots for a card as well as the die cut out! I love when you can stretch your dies! Plus I also used the layered nesting heart dies as well! Pink and brown and Pink and grey colors! You can enter the Frilly and Funkie Challenge here http://frillyandfunkie.blogspot.com/2018/01/all-you-need-is-love.html

Valentines for friends
So I decided to make some Valentine's for friends this year! These are kind of frou, frou cards but I like how they turned out! These are die cut cuts that have multiple layers to build up dimension which I like! Thank goodness for foam tape and my Xyron Machine! It makes sticking the small pieces together much easier!
Of course I couldn't make a Valentine card without Tim Holtz! This is the rose embossing folder that he put out in 2017! I just love it and colored with regular Distress Inks! The Rose Die cut is from SSS and the Love is from HA. I put these up for sale in my Etsy store as well!

WE Heart You CCB Feb Challenge 2018
So my first design project for Canvas Corp Brands is a Valentine project! I used some fantastic products from CCB such as Tattered Angels Glimmer Spray in Pink and Glimmer Glam Glazes! The Glazes were in Red, Brown- cowboy and Silver. Just gorgeous to wash over wood, paper, tissue paper, cardboard and canvas! I actually mixed the glaze and the spray with some Tim Holtz Grit paste to use on the project. I also used a great paper called Amore that came in my Tattered Angels 4 pack, some corrugated cardboard and canvas from my Arxitextures paper pack! I added embellishments and a Tim Holtz paper doll to complete the look! Loving the new products from CCB! Just need to order more! Thanks for stopping by!
The wash provides colors and glimmer but doesn't cover up the painted words or the torn tissue paper.
